Credits are available for psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and certified counselors. In order for CE credits to be awarded to any student, all eligibility requirements must be met.

Satisfactory Completion: Participants must have paid the course fee, been present at role call for each session, attended the entire course (one hour twice a week for 40 hours*) and completed an evaluation, in order to receive a certificate of completion attendance. In addition to the previous requirements, Social Workers must complete and pass, with a score of at least 70%, a post-test to receive a certificate of completion/attendance. Participants not fulfilling these requirements will not receive a certificate. Failure to be present and accounted for during sign in or sign out (role call) will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.

Psychologists: Amedco is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. Amedco maintains responsibility for the program. Courses offered by APA-approved sponsors are now accepted for credit by the California Psychological Association beginning Jan 1, 2002. California Psychologists are responsible for reporting their own credits to the board and for remitting the course-reporting fee.  30.0 hours.

Social Workers: Amedco, ASWB provider #1006, is approved as a provider for continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards, 400 South Ridge Parkway, Suite B, Culpeper, VA 22701. www.aswb.org. ASWB Approval Period:  2-17-03 to 2-17-06. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval.  Social workers will receive 30.0 continuing education clock hours in participating in this course.

CA: Course meets the qualifications for 30.0 hours of continuing education credit for MFCC's and/or LCSW's as required by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider #PCE875.  This approval also applies to CA Marriage and Family Therapists.

Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists: (Marriage and Family Therapists, please check with your state board to see if CE credit is available.) Amedco is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for certified counselors. We adhere to NBCC continuing education guidelines.
